Well, more specifically, support Two Star Spark. You see, without fans, we would be three guys hanging out in a practice room blowing out our own ear drums for no good reason. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love just playing music, but I love entertaining also. We know we have lots of great friends who like to support local, independent music, and what better unsigned-indie-unknown band to support than your good friends Elliot, Phil, and Charlie? Here are some ways you can get on the bandwagon, so to speak:
- Become a fan on Facebook. We put some songs up there, and Facebook offers a lot of community features, such as fan photos and videos, a discussion board, and the ever-popular wall. Once you’re a fan, dig through your photos of shows and upload them!
- Become our friend on Myspace. Did you know that My Chemical Romance got popular originally through Myspace marketing exclusively? I’m not saying we’ll get there, but we like having friends post comments about us!
- Sign us on The Next Big Sound. This is a cool site that allows you to become a “music mogul” and sign bands. There’s no money involved because it’s not like becoming a real mogul, and it’s not like actually signing bands, but it’s a pretty cool way to discover new music. Also, the more people sign us, the more people see and hear us!
- Like us on iLike. iLike is a good place to find the latest information on us, hear our songs, and see our calendar. Of course, we put all our info everywhere, but if you already have an iLike account, become a fan there! Then, you can dedicate songs and whatnot on Facebook!
- As usual, keep checking this site. Subscribe to the RSS feed and read these posts in your favorite reader. We always keep this site up to date with the latest information and news about the band.
- Finally, come to a show. It’s not online social networking, but it is a good way to enjoy a cold beer and see some good live music. We’d love to see you!
Anyway, it’s been awhile since I wrote an update here (sorry), and this one is kind of pure marketing pitch (sorry again). So here’s some news: we’re going to record an album in the next month or two, again with Eriq of parae. I was thinking of these songs:
