Hello adoring fans! The band is looking for a venue to have a CD release party. We’re not huge, but we’re hardworking and can easily put together a full bill for the evening, publicize, and bring a good number of people. We usually have no problem getting shows, but they’re usually piggy-backing on other bands or they end up being weeknight shows. We’d really like to have this on a Friday or Saturday night because then we’ll get the strongest draw. We’ve played El Rio, Kimo’s, Beale St. Bar, Ireland’s 32, Milk, Grant and Green, and DNA Lounge in San Francisco, as well as a few places outside the city. We’re looking for a mid May show ideally, and I know a lot of places are booked up, but we’ve still got our fingers crossed.

What I’m looking for is advice from other bands or offers from venues. I know someone must subscribe to this blog. We’re going for smaller venues because we’re a small band. We’re building our following, but I won’t lie and say we can fill a room yet. We’re not interested in a pay-to-play situation, but we’ll pay for the sound tech and door person obviously.
